A big thank you to Robin Douglas and the Oceanside Museum of Art who held this magnificent Found Art Sculpture Workshop. I appreciated the opportunity to create in a medium that was completely new to my practice and I look forward to continuing to explore all that found art has to offer.
This sculpture was made from pure intuition. I assembled it piece by piece based on which items spoke to me until I had a structure that felt both intimately personal and universally connected. There is no inherent meaning to be found here, only feeling and earthly spirituality.
